It's still a gig day... So that means this picture is tremendous! A Picture worthy of any Art Gallery in any small farm town with a population of at least 20 people. hahaha !! This shot gives you a clear idea of how I spent my lunch break on this gig day! Waffle House!!! (click it to see a larger version). I am sad to say though, that the Waffle House I visited did abuse it's bacon which offends me greatly. They cooked this stuff in Mass, plated it and then proceeded to stack … [Read more...]
Warranty Schmarranty
Here's an interesting read about Apple's wonderful customer service. Note my sarcasm? :-) Anyway, here's a short clip of the article. The Apple Retail Store Hates You - I recently visited the Apple store to exchange a defective power adapter which was still under warranty. I still have the defective adapter, as it has now cost more time and effort than it was originally worth. What I have lost is time, money, and trust in the ethics of the retail store. What I have gained is … [Read more...]
Save the Arts!
This is one of the most troubling things I've run across in a long time. Don't get me wrong, I like the sunny warm weather of the Spring and Summer months. It's just that in Tennessee we get Sunny warm weather all year long. Even in the winter. ( Damn Global Warming! ) Winter here just means we now have the added possibility of cold and snow, and I really dig that possibility. This … [Read more...]

Here is an update of the gas prices on Broadway as of 1:45pm on September 12, 2008. 3.89 - Citgo. 4.00 - Gas stop. 4.49 - Pilot. 3.69 - Phillips 66 - There was Quite a nice line here! 3.89 - Exxon. Hopefully all these crazy prices will calm down in a few days but, until then I'll be keeping my trips down to the bear necessities. No more … [Read more...]
Calm Down!!
This is just a little rant. You probably don't want to hear/read this but hey, this is my site so here goes. This past Christmas my lovely wife, knowing the geek I am, got me this great t-shirt. If you are a geek like me you can determine the subject of this shirt quite easily. Now, if you can't tell... I'll fill you in. This shirt's subject is the Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy. ( a most hilarious movie BTW) So... How/why is this a rant? Well. I wore this T-shirt this … [Read more...]
